Both the business and the practice of law are changing. Facing stiff competition from other firms and alternative legal service providers, law firms are moving away from the traditional billable hours approach—in which more time spent on a task translates to more money for the firm—and embracing efficiency, which demands new tactics and new tools.
The team at ZERO conducted a survey to find out where law firms have adopted technology and where they are still underserved. Our respondents worked at firms of all sizes, primarily in the U.S. but also representing Canada, Europe, and other regions.
